Summer: view from the shady room in the garden

The dark shadow in the cool room limited the painting on both sides. Three ostriches radiant brilliant cut flowers are inside next to the glass door on the sideboard: In the middle of sunny yellow asters, before autumnal red-brown chrysanthemums, then delicate, pale pink phlox and bright red sweet peas. In the middle of painting the door is opened into the garden. It gives a clear view freely on the green grass. The blue flowering hibiscus stands on the side of the evergreen flower bed with small white flowers. Fridel Dethleffs-Edelmann plays with the contrast between the dark room and the magnificent colors of summer flowers. Thanks to the dark shadow of the beauty of summer flowers intensive lighting.
