Evening in Sardinia

The flowers perennial with the fruit clusters strives powerfully upwards. The stored energy in their seeds is reflected in the fiery color of the background: It is the power of autumn with its seeds, which hold life for the future in itself.

Small, upright rectangles in the background supporting the emerging dynamics of the painting. Their colors are related, but each is independently: Near the tree the red of the Sardinian wine dominates. In addition, the bright orange sunset. Switch Near the frame, the colors in the green and sink into darkness.

The painting is free of melancholy. The autumn evening under the crescent moon is a pleasure. The anticipation is palpable: On tomorrow and on every coming day.
