Unification

Heat and cold are opposites.

The painting bridges these opposites:

There seems to be a dream.

The cold yellow sun

in black red sky.

A sharp mountain.

An observation tower,

standing in front of fiery red.

Prior crouched two dark houses heavy, snowy roofs -

in the midst of a barren pine.

In addition, the nested building a factory:

High chimney,

unfired and therefore crowned with snow.

The Heat embedded

in the wonderfully cold, white gray winter landscape.

The contradictions come down hard

and still form an inseparable unit.
