From the Landeskunstschule Karlsruhe, Fridel Edelmann was not far into the Black Forest. She preferred to go to Blasiwald - a small settlement with the typical Schwarzwälder farmhouses. (The Schluchsee was also very close by.)
In Blasiwald, her base for painting in the open countryside was in the "Häusle" a small room, which she could always rent on a daily basis - see 103073.
From there she also painted the view from the house over to the neighbors - see 103074.
