Heaven and hell

Up the sky in the golden wreath - small and closed. Underneath, the full-bodied hell - open for everyone. There is a train from the bottom to the top, the ones who are knocking around the entrance to the closed sky. There are many of them. No one will come in there.

The work radiates such a wonderful, baroque color and form language that it is difficult to link the title "Bavarian Requiem II" with the work of art. (The beauty also forbids it to grow over Bavaria and Prussia.)

It is best to get rid of the title and admire the magnificent work. The ceramic is a three-dimensional work of art. To the varnish of glossy glaze the artist places matte surfaces, small breaks and warping. These opposites testify to the diversity of life. Technical perfection is an artistic equivalent to human imperfection.

The work of art is contained in the hand-forged black iron frame of the forge of Epp-Isny.
