| 6 July 1933 | Ursula Dethleffs is born on 6 July 1933 as daughter of the caravan manufacturerer Arist Dethleffs and his wife Frau Fridel Dethleffs-Edelmann in Ottersweier near Bühl/Baden. Arist Dethleffs was the first manufacturer who constructed a caravan in Germany; his wife Fridel Dethleffs-Edelmann is an artist of the New Objectivity who is known beyond the borders of the region – her self-portrait has been published in many art historical works. |
| 1946 | Pen drawings, linocuts; first exhibitions in Ehingen, Reutlingen, Karlsruhe, Ravensburg and Konstanz. |
| 1947 | Participation in exhibitions in Kempten, Munich and Stuttgart. |
| 1949 | Participation in the exhibition "Christian contemporary art" („Christliche Kunst der Gegenwart”) in Ravensburg and Freiburg. |
| 1950 | Art price of the youth of Saulgau; participation in the exhibition of the "Neue Gruppe" ("New Group") in the "Haus der Kunst" Munich (also in 1952). |
| 1952 | Participation in the exhibition "Sacral contemporary art" („Kirchliche Kunst der Gegenwart”) in Stuttgart. Beginning of extensive exhibition activities in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, CSSR, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Sudan, Canada and the USA. Travels to Italy, Spain, Russia and the Third World. |

| May 1994 | Ursula Dethleffs lived and worked until her death in Isny /Allgäu. |
