Rohrmoos near Oberstdorf in Bavaria
Oldest wooden chapel Southern Germany
The small chapel in the Allgäu in Oberstdorf / tube moss is its significance for the history of art not to be considered: Already in 1586 it was as a wooden chapel
built by the counts of the House Waldburg-Wolfegg. Inside, she vaulted boards as a ton. In 1587 it was painted colorfully. The outside is paneled with plain pine boards of the building. The gable roof is covered with shingles. (Photographs, etc. see Googel: Pipe Moss St. Anne's Chapel)
